CGI sponsors the Young Energy Professional Forum, part of Energy UK

The Young Energy Professionals (YEP) Forum is Energy UK’s (the trade association for the UK energy industry) network that promotes the next generation of energy industry professionals. The forum provides its members with opportunities to meet, collaborate, develop and recognise successes, while learning from leading industry experts and sharing experiences in an informal, exciting and open environment.

CGI is a long-standing member of Energy UK and we are very pleased to extend our on-going commitment to the industry by supporting the young professionals in the energy sector through the activities of the YEP Forum; starting with the sponsorship’s launch event on Tuesday, 19th September at CGI’s Kings Place offices in London.

The event will bring the two organisations together to celebrate our partnership, launch the Forum’s plan for 2018 and will offer the first opportunity for YEP members to engage with CGI.

Tara McGeehan, Senior Vice President, UK Energy, Utilities and Telecoms, CGI said:

“CGI is delighted to be sponsoring the Young Energy Professionals Forum. We are passionate supporters of young people pursuing their careers in technology and STEM subjects in general. We believe that the YEP brings together our continued work with the energy industry and our desire to support a more balanced and diverse workforce.”
