Section 8 Project-Based Rental Assistance (PBRA) is one of HUD’s most important rental assistance programs, providing affordable housing to over 1.2 million families. Performance Based Contract Administrators (PBCAs) support HUD in administering and monitoring the PBRA program. On behalf of HUD, PBCAs perform critical tasks monitoring compliance, overseeing physical and financial condition of properties, and providing customer service to participating families and property owners.
