CGI will join Northumbrian Water Group (NWG) once again at the company’s online Innovation Festival between 14-17 September 2020. All are invited to join this online event free of charge. This year marks the fourth consecutive year of CGI’s sponsorship, and our design sprint will focus on the theme of Net Zero, with the title:
‘Save the World - How can emerging technologies and innovative use of data accelerate the journey towards Net Zero?’
The CGI-led design sprint will explore how we can collaborate across communities to harness emerging technologies and use data more innovatively to accelerate our journey towards a carbon neutral society. While the focus is on the North East of the United Kingdom, this sprint is relevant globally.
CGI’s Mark Thompson, Director of Consulting Services said: “We are really proud to be supporting the Innovation Festival again with a really important subject, not only for the UK but also globally. This year, the Innovation Festival is going digital and we will support the sprint round the clock together with our colleagues down under in Australia. We are also excited to be collaborating with three other organisations - Newcastle City Council, ENGIE and WordNerds - all of whom, like CGI in the UK, have Net Zero objectives.”
We look forward to seeing you virtually from 14 to 17 September to experience 4 days of innovation and collaboration.
