Vijay Srinivasan serves as President of CGI’s U.S. commercial and state government operations, which delivers a broad range of technology and business services to clients. Vijay leads the strategy and growth of this U.S. business portfolio that plays a prominent role in CGI’s global position across several industries, including financial services, energy, utilities, retail and manufacturing, health, communications, and state and local government. In addition, he is a member of the CGI Global Operations Management Committee.
From his early career experience in finance and accounting to later managing major P&Ls and client relationships in the IT sector, Vijay has over 30 years of experience in strategic planning, business development, delivery, and program management. He has also led and mentored global teams and has in-depth expertise and business knowledge in the financial services, telecom, and manufacturing industries.
Before this appointment, Vijay led CGI’s U.S. South business unit, serving commercial and government clients in strategic verticals such as banking, manufacturing, utilities, healthcare, telecom and state and local government.
Vijay graduated from Loyola College in Chennai, India, with a bachelor’s degree in commerce (business). He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (equivalent to CPA) and an associate member of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of India (equivalent to CMA)
