Elizabeth Whitmer, a director in CGI Federal’s Health and Compliance Programs (HCP) business, is a digital accessibility professional who has served the public sector since 2008. She has an expert understanding of accessibility guidelines, including Section 508, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, and the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) Accessible Rich Internet Applications (ARIA) specification. Elizabeth also has experience as a conference presenter, having co-presented sessions to share accessibility lessons learned in 2015, 2017, 2018, and 2019 at the international CSUN Assistive Technology Conference.
