Bernie serves as the Senior Vice-President of operations for CGI’s U.S. New England business unit. He leads the strategy and growth for clients in the government and commercial sectors covering Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island and Maine.
With 40+ years of consulting and IT experience, Bernie has broad experience managing large P&Ls, business development, delivery, and organizational strategy. Bernie has a passion for using technology to drive business transformation and is a strong advocate for developing early career professionals as they grow their careers.
In addition to his BU role, Bernie leads CGI’s U.S. go-to-market activities for the Insurance Industry, representing the U.S. on CGI’s Global Industry Cabinet for that market segment. He previously represented the U.S. on CGI’s Business Consulting Global Steering Committee and CGI’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Executive Steering Committee.
He currently serves on the Pittsburgh Technology Council’s Board of Directors.
Bernie has been with CGI since joining American Management Systems (AMS) in 1986. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Business Management from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Massachusetts.
