As CGI looks ahead at 50, Stephanie Mango, President of CGI Federal, reflects on the attributes that continue to shape the organization’s direction. Here is the transcript of her remarks:

Reflections on 50 years

For me, the 50th anniversary is a testament to what we’ve all built here over 50 years. When I started with this company 31 years ago or so, I learned very quickly that the culture we had here was around ownership. We all know that when we own something, we take good care of it, and that ownership mentality is what has allowed this company to continue to grow over five decades.

Attributes that shaped our journey

When you're growing, you sometimes worry about losing things. I am so proud of this company and how we've managed to hold on to our commitment to mission, making sure our clients are achieving their goals and we're standing side by side with them to do that. And throughout all of it, we maintained our values of integrity and accountability.

Delivering value for our stakeholders

I think it's a really exciting time for us in this industry. I know some people are nervous about some of it. Technology is at an exciting time, there are great things happening and it provides an opportunity for us to support our clients, not only in keeping up with technology, but in figuring out how to use technology to leap ahead in their business and accomplish their goals.

The future of CGI is…

The future of CGI is energized. An energized environment is what drives the innovation and the agility that our clients need and the partnership they rely on.
