CGI Group Inc., (TSX: GIB.A; NYSE: GIB), a leading provider of information technology (IT) and business process services, has been selected by SaskPower, an electrical generation, transmission, and distribution utility to provide service desk support through to 2015.

Under this agreement, awarded through SaskPower’s rigorous Vendor of Record RFP process, CGI will provide 24/7/365 service desk support to SaskPower’s 2,800 employees based in numerous locations throughout Saskatchewan, Canada. The 4.5 year agreement will be delivered by CGI’s Regina-based operations.
