CGI Group (TSX:GIB.A) (NYSE:GIB), a leading provider of information technology (IT) and business process services has been selected by Metro Inc., a leader in the food and pharmaceutical sectors in Québec and Ontario, to host and manage its IT processing centre for the next six years.

CGI has a long-standing relationship and has been providing operations management services to Metro dating back to 2000. Under this agreement, CGI will host and manage the mainframe environments that operate Metro’s enterprise resource planning and warehouse management systems, in addition to providing IT service desk support.
