CGI is a proud recipient of the National Veteran Small Business Coalition NVSBC Champion of Veteran Enterprise Award for meeting or exceeding goals established for subcontracting to veteran-owned small businesses (VOSBs) and service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses (SDVOSBs).
In support of the small business community, CGI Federal’s Small Business Engagement Office attends business opportunity workshops, minority business seminars, trade fairs, matchmaking events and other small business conferences.
For instance, CGI actively participates in various events, including the National Veteran Small Business Coalition (NVSBC) conference and the HUBZone Council's National HUBZone conference.
We also take part in vendor outreach events sponsored by federal agency Offices of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization.
In addition, CGI supports and participates in outreach and networking events held by various chambers of commerce, such as the U.S. Women Chamber of Commerce (USWCC) and the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC).
Being part of these events allows CGI to connect with innovative, nimble small businesses who can strengthen our value proposition to our clients, while simultaneously providing opportunities and guidance to the small firms.
CGI would like to establish partnerships with businesses interested in providing quality services and supplies to our federal government clients. This includes but is not limited to:
-
Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB)
-
8(a) firms
-
Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone)
-
Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB)
-
Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB)
-
Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB)
-
Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU)
