John Manta serves as Senior Vice-President, Consulting Services and CGI’s U.S. Midwest business unit leader. John leads the strategy and growth of U.S. Midwest that covers 14 states and serves clients across several industries including financial services, energy, utilities, retail and manufacturing, health, communications, and state and local government. He has a passion for mentoring members and growing their careers as well as further developing CGI’s proximity model through a build and buy strategy that aligns CGI’s metros with clients and drives accountability closer to the field.
John joined CGI through the American Management Systems (AMS) merger in 2004 and brought experience in managing an international product team including marketing, sales, product development, and deployment. He has led teams from 50 to 500 in both the IT and oil and gas industries including diverse international teams from multiple countries and cultures.
John lives in Chicago, Illinois and holds a Masters of Business Administration with Honors from the University of Chicago, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Colorado, Leeds School of Business.
