Düsseldorf, Germany, August 17, 2008

Telecommunications carrier Vodafone and CGI Information Systems and Management Consultants Deutschland GmbH (CGI) (NYSE: GIB; TSX: GIB.A), a leading provider of information technology and business process services, announced a new nationwide sales and service partnership. The partnership extends an initiative launched by Vodafone in June 2007 to secure a more expansive network of leading IT service providers for Vodafone in Germany. The aim of the new partnership is to offer Vodafone’s customers end-to-end mobility solutions as a one-stop shop through this network of providers.

Effective immediately, Vodafone and CGI will offer mobile business solutions through a joint approach in addition to a range of services, including consulting, process analysis, product selection and implementation, and systems integration. Business customers will profit from the expertise and many years of experience of both partners in the mobile business solutions space.

Alexander Saul, Director, Enterprise Sales with Vodafone, emphasized the advantages for business customers: "Finding the perfect mobile solution will now be even easier for our business customers. Thanks to our partnership with CGI, even more system integrators will have access to Vodafone’s offerings, which are perfectly tailored to the various end-user requirements.”

"Mobile solutions continue to gain strategic importance for many businesses,” said CGI’s Agnes Hombrecher, Vice-President of CGI’s operations in Germany. “Competitive pressures are forcing businesses to increase the productivity of staff and managers in areas such as sales and service. At the same time, companies are under pressure to increase customer satisfaction. This new initiative with our long-time partner Vodafone offers customers a single point of contact for all their mobile business solution needs with clearly measurable benefits.”
