CGI holds annual one-day STEM camps across the country in partnership with schools and community organizations. These fun, interactive events teach students about STEM-related careers. The camps were started at CGI's Lafayette, Louisiana, center by three college hires in their first year of employment. In 2017, it expanded to six locations across the U.S., thanks to CGI’s Dream Connectors program. To date, more than 1,200 students in 10 communities have taken part of these camps lead by more than 280 CGI members. Numerous new camps are currently in the planning process.

The STEM Camps are the flagship program of STEM@CGI, a nationwide K-12 program that aims to train and mentor young people for STEM careers. It strives to provide experiences that inspire students with the drive to learn for a bright future in the digital workforce. STEM@CGI focuses on students in demographics that are underrepresented in STEM fields, including women, minorities and the economically disadvantaged.

CGI STEM Camp courses include topics in computer coding, computer building, physical computing, Internet of Things, music creation, data analytics, business consulting, interviewing and smart cities.
