Rémi Kouby has served as a cybersecurity and privacy director within CGI’s business consulting practice in France since 2020. He brings more than 15 years of experience in cybersecurity consulting, risk management, and data protection, helping organizations address complex transformation, compliance, and digital resilience challenges.

Rémi leads a team of more than 25 consultants specializing in risk assessment, cybersecurity governance, operational resilience, regulatory compliance, and data protection. Together, they support clients in defining and implementing cybersecurity and compliance strategies aligned with their business priorities and risk profiles.

His expertise includes risk management, threat modelling, the security of digital transformation programs, and the enhancement of cyber defense capabilities. He also advises organizations on the emerging cybersecurity implications of artificial intelligence, from assessing AI-related risks and securing use cases to applying AI to strengthen detection, protection and response.

Rémi has extensive experience leading complex and sensitive engagements, primarily in highly regulated environments where security, compliance, and technology governance requirements are particularly demanding. He works with executive, business, risk, compliance and information systems leaders to design practical frameworks and solutions that address both strategic priorities and operational needs.

His ability to connect regulatory requirements, operational risks, business objectives, and technology enables him to contribute effectively to complex, technology-intensive initiatives and support the implementation of appropriate security solutions.
