Dennis “Denny” Russell is the UX and AI Lead within CGI’s Office of the CTO, operating at the intersection of AI, product strategy, innovation and user experience. He partners with leaders and solution teams to transform emerging technologies into practical, responsible and user-centered solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.

His current focus centers on redefining the human experience in an AI-driven world, helping teams understand not only what AI can do, but how it should function within the broader ecosystem of people, processes and products.

Drawing on his experience across CGI’s Intelligent Solutions & Innovation team and the U.S. Human-Centered Design Practice, Denny applies structured design thinking and scalable frameworks to address complex and ambiguous challenges.

Through his work with the AI Business Activation program, he guides solution teams to begin with client problems and desired outcomes, aligning technology decisions to user needs, operational realities and long-term value creation. By bridging strategy, design and AI enablement, he helps organizations move from experimentation to scalable execution.
