Deniz Alper is Head of Emerging Technologies at CGI in the Netherlands, where he is responsible for developing, marketing and implementing innovative technological solutions across various sectors. He focuses on translating emerging technologies, including GenAI and agentic AI, into scalable solutions with demonstrable business outcomes.
In addition, Deniz serves as AI Lead and Chair of the AI Cabinet within CGI’s Scandinavia, Northwest & Central-East Europe (SNCE) strategic business unit. In this role, he oversees coordination and collaboration across units and countries, with the aim of accelerating AI initiatives, capitalizing on commercial opportunities and ensuring delivery excellence.
Before joining CGI in 2024, Deniz spent nearly a decade at a Big Four firm, where he led complex data and AI transformations across a wide range of industries. He has extensive experience in highly regulated and dynamic environments, and is skilled at translating strategic ambitions into concrete, scalable solutions.
Deniz combines strategic vision with strong execution skills and commercial acumen. With a pragmatic and results-oriented leadership style, he builds high-performing teams and bridges the gap between strategy and execution. Deniz focuses on embedding AI and other emerging technologies within CGI in a sustainable way, ensuring that innovation contributes structurally to clients’ competitive advantage and strategic growth.
