With more than 25 years of experience in technology, business consulting and shared services operations, Amar leads CGI’s U.S., Canada, UK and Australia global business engineering functions. Amar’s team supports clients in the design and implementation of managed IT and business process services, helping clients benefit from CGI’s IT expertise to increase agility, apply innovation and deliver an improved return on investment. This includes helping clients set up and scale global delivery centers and Global Capability Centers (GCCs).
Throughout his career, Amar has worked closely with many Fortune 500 clients, helping drive performance and profitability through IT. He has an extensive background supporting strategic growth plans across industry sectors, including manufacturing, banking and financial services, energy, oil, and gas. He thrives in hyper-scaling unstructured and emerging businesses.
Amar has been a long-time resident of Silicon Valley in California. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Osmania University in Hyderabad, India and a Master of Science in Engineering from the University of Massachusetts. Amar has also completed executive education programs at MIT and the Singularity University.
