The Seattle Housing Authority (SHA) has chosen CGI to implement an organization-wide electronic document management system. CGI will act as systems integrator implementing software developed by their business partners Hyland Software, Inc. (OnBase) and Kofax, Inc. (Ascent Capture). The system will provide the SHA with a web-based document management system incorporating: imaging, workflow, records management, COLD, digital signatures, and e-forms development and management. SHA plans to fully implement the system within all SHA departments after the pilot implementation has proven its effectiveness.Â
What CGI will deliver
CGI's electronic document management solution will help SHA manage their ever-increasing documentation requirements, adhere to paperwork reduction initiatives and more efficiently deliver services to their diverse customer base. The system will provide a fully configurable, comprehensive environment to effectively capture, digitally store, access and search important resident and property information. The web-based system will allow authorized personnel to have access to information as readily as their nearest Internet connection, regardless of their location or the time of day. The system will enable SHA to improve efficiency, integrate systems, automate tenant re-certification processes, reduce paperwork and storage space, and meet and maintain compliance with U.S. Department of Urban Housing and Development (HUD) rules and regulations.
