Fairfax, Virginia, February 1, 2022

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) awarded CGI (NYSE: GIB) (TSX: GIB.A) a single-award Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with a $250 million ceiling value along with an initial Task Order with a potential value of $133.9 million over five years to operate, manage and maintain systems supporting business processes. Under this new BPA, CGI will support DOJ’s Unified Financial Management System (UFMS) and Unified Asset Management System (UAMS) programs, which standardize and streamline business processes across the Department. The awards follow the successful implementation of UFMS, enabled by CGI’s Momentum®, across DOJ’s various components.

Under this new BPA, DOJ is positioned to continue its long-standing partnership with CGI to achieve further digital transformation and gain additional efficiencies through robotic process automation, testing automation and migration to the cloud, and the use of CGI’s onshore delivery centers. Through these and future awards, and by leveraging CGI’s Momentum® and Sunflower® solutions, DOJ will manage and maintain its consolidated systems to enable all DOJ components to enhance the effective management of assets, financial resources, and procurements, and increase the Department’s security posture and process standardization.

“CGI’s deep departmental expertise, grounded on two decades of digital transformation and solution implementation, has provided us the opportunity to serve as a trusted advisor to DOJ and its Components,” stated CGI Federal President Stephanie Mango. “UFMS successful systems consolidation and standardization, integrated with UAMS, position DOJ for continued efficiencies tailored to unique DOJ needs.”
