On any given day at CGI, connection shows up in small but meaningful ways. A manager checking in before a deadline, colleagues taking a walk between meetings or a team making space for an honest conversation. These moments may seem simple, but they help create a culture where people feel supported, valued and able to do their best work.
As we mark Mental Well-being Month, this year’s theme, “Stronger together to build what’s next,” reflects a belief that has long guided CGI. Mental well-being is not a standalone initiative. It is part of how we work, how we lead and how we grow as an organization.
Connection as a driver of resilience and innovation
When people feel connected, they collaborate more effectively, adapt more easily to change and bring forward new ideas.
Through encouraging team environments and leadership practices grounded in empathy and trust, CGI Partners are supported in bringing their whole selves to work. This sense of belonging strengthens resilience, helps teams innovate, delivers stronger outcomes for our clients, and contributes to a more adaptable and resilient organization.
A connected ecosystem of support
Supporting mental well-being requires more than intention. It requires practical, accessible resources that meet people where they are. CGI Partners have access to a connected ecosystem of support, including:
- My Assistance Program (MAP), offering confidential guidance for personal and professional challenges
- Mental Health Ambassadors, who foster awareness and open dialogue
- CGI Academia, our global online learning platform with content focused on resilience and well-being
Together, these programs create a support network that helps CGI Partners navigate challenges and stay connected. This is reflected in the 2025 annual employee satisfaction survey, where CGI Partners gave “support for health and well-being at work” a score of 8.98 out of 10.
Bringing connection to life across our global community
Across CGI, Mental Well-being Month brings opportunities to encourage conversation and shared experiences.
In APAC, webinars are helping CGI Partners navigate difficult conversations and address the pressures of middle management. In the UK and Australia, initiatives like “Step To It” and in the U.S., “Move it Mondays,” encourage movement during the workday while creating opportunities for team engagement.
In Canada, interactive initiatives, including CGI Partner videos on human connection, a whiteboard highlighting moments that strengthen connections, and donations to a mental health charity, highlight the importance of strong relationships and support networks.
Across Europe, activities range from resilience workshops and leadership toolkits in Finland to sessions in Germany that draw parallels between data security and mental well-being, reinforcing the importance of awareness and proactive care.
Each of these efforts reflects a shared goal: making connection visible, practical and part of everyday work.
Extending our impact beyond CGI
Connection extends beyond our organization. Through CGI for Good, our global volunteering platform, we work with clients and community partners to support mental health and social well-being initiatives.
In Finland, for example, CGI Partners supported the development of the Helping Hand app, a digital platform that connects mental-health volunteers with individuals seeking support. In the UK, CGI consultants delivered a pro bono Salesforce solution for PTSD resolution, helping veterans and their families access trauma support more quickly.
Whether through community engagement, awareness campaigns or joint initiatives with clients, CGI Partners contribute to stronger, more resilient communities. These efforts reflect our belief that well-being is a shared responsibility and that meaningful impact happens when we work together.

Recognizing progress and building on our legacy
As CGI celebrates 50 years, our commitment to health and well-being continues to evolve, not only in intention, but in measurable action and impact.
Over the past year, teams across our global operations have delivered tangible progress that brings our commitment to life. This includes not only expanding programs and resources but also evolving how we work—through leadership practices, workplace design and continuous feedback—to address well-being as a shared responsibility across CGI.
In APAC, the FitWell Challenge, a 45-day initiative backed by senior leadership and well-being champions, helped drive a culture of movement and collective accountability for health. In Finland, small but meaningful changes such as shortening default meeting times have been introduced to create space for recovery, supporting both physical and mental well-being throughout the workday.
Recognition at the national and industry level further reflects this commitment. In Canada, CGI received the Platinum Excellence Award for Mental Health at Work® certification, while in Germany, CGI achieved Excellence in the Corporate Health Award, including special recognition for integrating leadership into health and well-being practices.
In the U.S., initiatives such as Managers on the Move have trained 90 leaders, while the launch of a WeightWatchers program generated strong engagement, supporting long-term health outcomes.
In France, CGI was awarded 1st prize in the “Challenge Compagnies Against Cancer” initiative, recognizing our strong commitment to prevention and reinforcing a long-term culture of health and well-being embedded in ESG.
These efforts demonstrate that mental well-being at CGI is not static. It is continuously shaped by feedback, innovation and a shared commitment to improving how we work together.
Moving forward, together
Building what’s next requires more than technology. It requires people who feel connected, supported and empowered to do their best work.
At CGI, strong human connections are at the heart of our achievements. By continuing to invest in mental well-being, we strengthen our organization and the communities we serve.
This Mental Well-being Month, we reaffirm a simple idea: when we support one another, we build a stronger future—together.
