CGI Group Inc. (TSX: GIB.A) (NYSE: GIB), a leading provider of information technology and business process services, today announced its plans to develop an SAP (NYSE: SAP)  Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Regina, Saskatchewan, creating at least 70 highly skilled IT jobs and building on CGI’s commitment to growth in Western Canada.

In partnership with SaskTel, Saskatchewan’s leading telecom provider, and through the CoE, CGI will provide IT services, including application management, project consulting and delivery and infrastructure management to clients in Saskatchewan and Western Canada.

As part of CGI’s global and local delivery model, CGI has a network of SAP Centres of Excellence in Canada, the United States, India and Europe, with SAP experts delivering SAP based solutions to the public and private sector. This SAP Centre of Excellence will be CGI’s first in Western Canada.
