Fairfax, Virginia, March 22, 2011

CGI Group Inc. (NYSE: GIB; TSX: GIB.A), a leading provider of information technology and business process services, today announced it was selected to provide its Medicaid Electronic Health Record (EHR) Incentive Payment Program solution, Medicaid Incentive360™, for the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) in a competitive procurement. This new project continues a 20 year relationship between the State of Ohio and CGI. CGI will host the application, provide training and execute help desk services for healthcare providers and state staff.

CGI’s Medicaid Incentive360 solution enables timely EHR incentive payment program compliance by providing the people, processes and technology needed for Medicaid agencies to administer and oversee their programs. In addition, the solution provides accountability, transparency and control through service level agreements and reporting.

"Electronic health records will improve health outcomes for all Ohioans, including individuals enrolled in Medicaid," said Ohio Medicaid Director John McCarthy. "EHRs help coordinate care and reduce overall health care costs by consolidating a patient’s health information and making it readily available to the medical professionals who need it."

“In selecting CGI, Ohio joins the State of Texas as part of our multi-state collaborative Medicaid Incentive360 platform,” said Holli Ploog, Vice-President, CGI. “Together, states can benefit from economies of scale, knowledge sharing and the latest technology to rapidly stand up this program at a predictable cost.”

“As a partner with the State of Ohio for more than 20 years, CGI is a global company with a strong local presence,” said Nola Haug, Vice-President, CGI State of Ohio Account. “We are thrilled to use our talent and broad healthcare IT qualifications to support the State in another modernization effort.”
