CGI (NYSE: GIB) (TSX: GIB.A) is partnering with Handicare, a leading Swedish-based provider of lifting aids, operating in 30 countries worldwide, to modernize the company’s global IT environment and drive its digital transformation. CGI will provide transformational outsourcing services, including IT application administration, application development, IT infrastructure services and the use of new digital technologies, to provide long-term cost efficiencies while modernizing and transforming Handicare’s IT environment and processes.

CGI will focus on optimizing the delivery of IT services and modernizing systems and processes, and serve as the company’s primary service integrator, managing all vendors and operational issues. In addition, CGI will help drive Handicare’s transformation by providing a broad range of digital skills and technologies. Through the partnership, Handicare will free up resources to focus on its core mission, while becoming more agile, customer centric and competitive.
