Luis Fatela is Director of Consulting Services at CGI, with more than 28 years of experience in technology consulting. Over the past eight years, he has led business development initiatives for major organizations within the Portuguese energy & utilities sector.
He currently heads a multidisciplinary team of approximately 20 consultants and is responsible for coordinating expertise in ArcGIS, cartographic production and geospatial data quality assurance (QA/QC).
Throughout his career, Luis has held leadership roles spanning consulting, project management and commercial management, contributing to large-scale national and international initiatives.
He is recognized for his ability to lead multicultural teams in complex environments and for delivering robust, results-oriented technological solutions.
Luis holds an Advanced Management in Energy (AMEG) certification from AESE, completed in 2023, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, obtained in 1996.
