José leads CGI’s proprietary solutions in the energy sector, namely Sm@rtering, focused on the smart grids space, and RMS, supporting the renewables market. He is responsible for driving the global growth and positioning of these products, with a particular focus on North America and Europe.
With nearly 20 years of experience in the OT/IT industry, José has specialized in the Utilities sector. Since joining CGI in 2012 (following its merger with Logica), he has contributed to several strategic energy projects and held key leadership roles. His experience includes the design and implementation of major initiatives such as Inovgrid—encompassing smart metering, distribution management, and microgeneration integration—and EDP Renewables WEMS, enabling the integration of one of the world’s largest wind portfolios.
