CGI, one of the world's leading independent information technology (IT) and business process services providers, has announced, together with WYDE, the launch of Wynsure, a management software package for personal and group insurance professionals (insurers and brokers). Wynsure offers two essential competitive advantages: it is the first multi-process insurance solution able to collectively manage P&C, health and personal accident and disability insurance; and its integrated business management offers a unique vision of clients in terms of contracts, claims and commercial operations.

“Our extensive insurance sector experience has allowed us to create and offer the functionalities most sought after by our clients,” stated Jacques Leray, general manager, CGI in France . “Today, users need tools that combine a full range of insurance products and processes, from sales to contract management to claims. Wynsure offers this on a single, flexible, scalable platform.”

The speed of a turnkey solution with the flexibility of a “product factory”
Backed by WYDE's expertise in development tools, Wynsure offers the best of both worlds: a sophisticated ready-to-use solution and a “product factory,” which allows for easy customization. The product factory works with parameterization and requires no coding. As a result, functional administrators can work directly with the solution without having to depend on IT services for support. This functionality is particularly useful for brokers, whose job requires quick and inexpensive integration of new products into their portfolio.

A single client vision
Wynsure's commercial management features offer a single vision of the client, which assures total cohesiveness between commercial operations conducted with clients (mailings, telephone follow-up campaigns, etc.) and the various functional aspects, such as contract and claims management. This integration allows for optimal management of the client buying cycle and a highly personalized approach to commercial offers.

“With Wynsure, we have succeeded in homogenizing our information systems, streamlining our management practices and achieving productivity gains of some 40%,” affirmed Patrick Fournier, director of information systems at AON France. “Wynsure has reduced the time it takes us to implement new insurance products and contract renewals. The satisfaction expressed by our users speaks volumes about its success.”

GI in France is the integrator and distributor of Wynsure, which is produced by WYDE. The Wynsure solution is based on the health solutions developed in the United States by CGI and WYDE and on the global IS P&C solution developed by CGI in France .
