CGI Federal, Inc., a wholly-owned U.S. operating subsidiary of CGI Group Inc. (CGI), (NYSE: GIB; TSX: GIB.A) today announced that Paul Harrington has joined the CGI Team as Director-Consulting, responsible for CGI’s Department of Veterans Affairs account. This appointment reflects the continued growth and success of CGI’s federal healthcare and managed services business.
Mr. Harrington brings to CGI over 17 years of diverse industry background in IT, financial services, pharmaceuticals and the military. Most recently, he was Senior Director, Information Technology at Merck where he was responsible for the leadership of the Global Marketing Client Services organization. Prior to Merck, he held senior management positions at Johnson and Johnson, SRA International and Andersen Consulting as well as serving as a Lieutenant in the United States Army where he was awarded the Army Commendation and Army Achievement Medals. Mr. Harrington holds an MBA from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boston University.
