Investing in your health and well-being
Fundamental to our culture, CGI Partners’ health and well-being is a priority at CGI. Our global health and well-being center of expertise (CoE), made up of a multidisciplinary team of workplace well-being experts, leads our global program, Oxygen. The CoE drives the strategy, efforts and direction for integrating well-being best practices into everything we do. Organizational psychologists, kinesiologists, occupational therapists, and mental health specialists across our operations provide support to our teams.
Our programs and resources empower our CGI Partners, while ensuring accessibility and quality of our support services. We also recognize that our consultants and professionals have changing needs as they assume different roles and responsibilities, at work and at home, over the course of their lifetime.
Some of the health and well-being initiatives we offer include:
- CGI Academia: Our global online learning platform offers a variety of learning resources on business, technology and leadership topics, including health and well-being courses.
- CGI for Good: Our digital volunteering tool provides CGI Partners with access to local and global volunteering opportunities and community giving initiatives.
- CGI Support Networks: CGI Partner-driven groups foster a sense of community and allyship, while advancing our commitment to empowering everyone to bring their authentic selves to work.
- Mental Health Ambassadors network: A peer-to-peer network of 600+ volunteers who are trained to support colleagues in need by initiating conversation and guiding them to experts and resources.
- My Assistance Program: A service for our professionals and their families which includes 24/7, confidential, and culturally relevant counseling, information and qualified referrals to support personal and professional challenges.
- Oxygen Portal: Our digital health and well-being hub provides downloadable tools, learning and resources on a continuum of health topics.
- Workspace optimization: We offer on-site and online support through digital platforms to help CGI Partners set up a functional workstation or to adapt to hybrid work.
Creating a respectful and mentally healthy workplace
Our respectful workplace policy ensures CGI Partners feel respected and comfortable being their authentic selves at work. This policy reinforces psychological safety, belonging, openness, and support in our workplaces around the world.
As part of our commitment to fostering a workplace culture that supports mental well-being, we signed the Leadership Pledge with Mindforward Alliance in May 2023. This business-led initiative advances progress across the globe by committing to creating mentally healthy workplaces and sharing insights and best practices across workplaces to build a roadmap for change.

Expanding our well-being culture with strategic partnerships
Our partnership with Global-Watch, an international collaborative platform for best practices in workplace mental health, enables us to turn science into action, offering tools and resources on emerging well-being topics. Through this collaboration, we contribute to building a roadmap for change and sharing insights with the scientific community.
We also have strategic partnerships in our various countries. For example, by collaborating with providers of the My Assistance Program (MAP) for our professionals, we gather trends and insights that enable us to tailor our strategies and co-develop solutions that address emerging needs.
Through an annual internal survey, we collect feedback from CGI Partners on our company strategy, which helps us continually adapt our health and well-being initiatives and resources. Recent key insights revealed a strong focus on well-being, with CGI Partners rating highly leadership support, work environment, and well-being resources. This reflects our strong commitment to fostering a supportive and respectful workplace culture.
