CGI, one of the world's leading IT and business process services providers, today announced a ten-year contract with Allianz to support CGI's global insurance administration solution GIOS.
Allianz has already implemented GIOS in over 20 operating entities worldwide, supporting many different lines of business, languages and currencies. With this new agreement Allianz is now in a position to amend existing solutions and to foster new migration and implementation projects. As part of the contract, the Allianz companies will have the ability to utilise GIOS related services in a streamlined way from CGI ‘on-demand'.
GIOS is a highly flexible component based solution, which covers all aspects of administration for all forms of insurance product including Life, Pensions and Investment, as well as non-life - Personal (Motor, Home etc.), Commercial and Health.
