Fairfax, Virginia, September 26, 2012

CGI Group Inc. (NYSE: GIB) (TSX: GIB.A), a leading provider of information technology and business process services, today announced the successful implementation and go-live of CGI Advantage™ Human Resource Management at Los Angeles County, Calif. replacing a 22 year-old time and attendance and personnel management system.

Los Angeles County, the nation’s largest county, has partnered with CGI for solutions and services since 2004 on a highly successful, multi-phased enterprise resource planning (ERP) modernization effort. This latest implementation includes the human resource management functions of CGI’s built-for-government ERP solution, CGI Advantage, and integration with CGI Advantage’s payroll, financial management and budget preparation systems.

The system, which supports more than 100,000 employees, enables the County to comprehensively administer its talent acquisition, onboarding and position control programs as well as maintain online access to real-time data for management analysis. It also reduces operating costs by eliminating outdated, standalone systems and streamlining business operations.

“CGI continues to be a reliable and committed partner for the County’s ERP needs,” said Robert A. Davis, Assistant Auditor-Controller, Los Angeles County, Calif. “We benefit from a single point of accountability for software delivery and implementation services, which maximizes our results while minimizing risk.”

“We are proud of our long-standing ERP partnership with Los Angeles County,” said Dave Delgado, Senior Vice-President, CGI. “CGI looks forward to delivering on the next phases of the County’s ERP modernization to improve vendor interaction and enhance manager self-service.”
