The U.S. Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO) has awarded Oberon, a wholly-owned subsidiary of CGI Federal Inc. (CGI) (NYSE: GIB; TSX: GIB.A), a US$28 million dollar contract to support the Kyrgyzstan Border Service.

Under the five-year, cost-plus-fixed-fee prime contract, the company will support the Kyrgyzstan Border Service’s efforts to better coordinate control of their border as well as provide information technology support to the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command’s (CECOM) counter narcotics efforts.
