Randy Tharp is a high-profile industry leader with a wide range of experiences in government and industry, as well as a strong commitment to improving access to healthcare and benefits for veterans. Leveraging approximately two decades of experience, Mr. Tharp serves as vice president overseeing strategic growth initiatives, specifically focused on providing project management and leading business sales operations for the CGI Federal Civilian Business Unit, which includes the departments of Veterans Affairs, Treasury, Commerce and Transportation, as well as the Pension Benefits Guaranty Corporation portfolios.  

Prior to joining in CGI, Mr. Tharp held several notable positions, including vice president of operations for Cognosante, account management lead at Leidos, enterprise portfolio manager at Spectrum Health, and roles in agency performance and management oversight at the Executive Office of The President. In the latter position, he oversaw the federal IT budget of $90 billion and provided portfolio oversight and management to various agencies, including Veterans Affairs, Department of Transportation, Small Business Administration, and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Mr. Tharp also served as a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer in the United States Army, where he deployed multiple times to Iraq with the 1st Infantry Division. He spent his final tour of duty supporting wounded soldiers at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, helping them transition into civilian life.

In addition to his professional roles and accomplishments, Mr. Tharp is President and Co-Founder of VETSports, a national organization dedicated to enhancing the physical, mental, and emotional health of veterans through sports, physical fitness, and community involvement. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Management and Business Administration, followed by his Master of Science in Management (MSM) in Business Administration, Management and Operations from The Catholic University of America.
