At CGI, we are acutely aware of the pressures on individuals in our modern-day society and also how the health of our company and the wellbeing of our members are closely tied. We pride ourselves on being known as a responsible company, where we pull together as a friendly team, helping all our members to bring their whole selves to work. Our member wellbeing initiatives have received awards from the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personal Development) and CHS (Corporate Health Standard) Wales.

Mental health support is crucial for creating a safe and healthy work environment, something we are truly passionate about. That is why we have trained over 250 of our members as Mental Health First Aiders, equipped with the skills to recognise when peers may be struggling with ill mental health and the tools to listen, reassure and signpost to other support systems such as our extensive Member Assistance Program.

Oxygen is CGI’s award winning health and wellbeing program that provides global, regional, and local initiatives to support our members' mental and physical health, encouraging them to take steps to improve their general wellbeing. Initiatives include annual health screening and online health questionnaires. We also have Wellbeing Thoughts of the Week and hold monthly webinars to promote discussions around health and wellbeing topics that may be more difficult to talk about such as the effects of stress, menopause, and cancer.

Walk around the world

Every year, we host a global event – Walk Around the World – to promote good health and wellbeing while demonstrating our commitment to being present within our local communities. Over 70,000 CGI members from around the world are invited to take part, connecting with each other and their communities while benefiting their mental and physical health.
