William is a senior consultant responsible for providing Sustainability and Climate Change Advisory Services. He is passionate about collaborating with clients and partners to achieve net zero commitments, sustainable portfolios and products, and successful transformation to a low carbon economy.
William is a Chartered Chemical Engineer (CEng MIChemE), studied as a climate risk professional, and has managed carbon plans using his holistic skillset to drive carbon reduction initiatives. His decade of experience includes delivery in businesses, supply chains and manufacturing across multiple sectors (public and private) including the defence, automotive, transport and healthcare industries.
William also has training in life cycle assessments (LCA), experience in lean start-up, design and innovation initiatives, as well training in agile, change (APMG Change Practitioner), strategic benefits management and project management. He uses this skillset to help organisations select and embed sustainable frameworks and disclosures that deliver the best value (TCFD, SGDs, SBTI etc.).
William is also qualified in technology and data solutions (including cloud (Azure), citizen development (PMI-CD), Internet of Things (IoT) and automation), and uses this experience to help clients effectively integrate sustainable performance indicators (SPIs) into environmental, social and governance (ESG) data systems. He also has proven experience in growing sustainable communities of practice (CoP) and partnerships for global organisations to successfully reduce carbon intensity.
