The theme for Food Waste Action Week 2023 is ‘Win. Don’t Bin.’ and aims to demonstrate how valuable food is in our lives, how it unites people and how using up everything we buy saves money, time and the planet.

To celebrate Food Waste Action Week, we have invited Claire Shrewsbury from climate action NGO, Waste and Resources Action Programme (WRAP), to discuss food waste, the changes happening to reduce waste and what we can do on an individual level to make a difference.

Our speakers will also address the broader topic of waste and circularity as a whole, as CGI's Tara McGeehan highlights why it is important to her from a leadership perspective, and Mattie Yeta looks at the environmental impact with a technology lens and how CGI intellectual property (IP) 'Aromi' is helping clients in the hospitality industry.
