From education to employment: creating new pathways into digital careers

Career Catapult is CGI’S Further Education programme delivered in partnership with government and educational institutes, to connect learning with real-world experience. The programme helps young people to build the skills and confidence needed for careers in business and digital transformation.

Through an intensive skills bootcamp and a live team competition, students experience what professional ‘digital’ roles really involve. Supported by CGI professionals and public sector partners, college participants work collaboratively to explore agile ways of working, user-centred design and problem-solving in a real delivery scenario.

Students can present their ideas to industry and government judges, gaining practical feedback and insight into future career paths, leaving with stronger CV stories, increased confidence and a clearer understanding of opportunities available to them.
