Career Catapult, led by CGI in partnership with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra), HMRC and two North East colleges, is an innovative initiative designed to bridge the digital skills gap and prepare students for careers in digital transformation. Through hands-on learning, industry mentorship and government collaboration, the programme empowers students with practical digital and business transformation skills, strengthening local employability and contributing to the UK’s digital economy.
