Working at CGI in the Philippines

At CGI, employees are referred to as members. This is because over 85% of employees are shareholders of the company, and are as such, owners of it. This concept of ownership makes for a culture of empowerment and openness. There are numerous opportunities for learning and growth, whether you want to acquire new skills or broaden your current expertise.

We believe in the importance of the health and wellness of our members. ‘Oxygen’ is CGI’s global health and wellness program. The backbone of the program is a multidisciplinary team of experts specializing in all facets of health who make it a priority to support members in terms of decisions that affect their health and wellness. The Oxygen Portal is a true online health and wellness program designed to help improve the overall health of its users. Interactive and available anytime, anywhere, Oxygen Portal offers a variety of tools and solutions to encourage users to adopt a healthy lifestyle in their personal life and in their work environment. It provides in-depth resources and action plans around physical activity, nutrition, weight management, smoking cessation, sleeping habits, stress management, motivation and empowerment.

We are also committed to protecting the environment. Some of the activities we have been a part of include an eco-foot race to help save a local major river, adoption of a hectare of land for a reforestation project in an effort to preserve one of the largest water reservoirs in the country, a recycling competition for the best usable designs, campaigning efforts to reduce printing as much as possible and waste segregation as a daily activity.

Some of our community projects include donating used computers to Springboard Foundation, a non-profit organization to help children gain access to quality education and good career opportunities, a clothes drive into a recycling competition in aid of children in need of special protection and a fundraising event for Children's Hour.
