Fairfax, Virginia, November 24, 2009

In recognition of her sustained, exemplary contribution to the field of public administration, Molly O'Neill, Vice-President at CGI Federal, a wholly-owned U.S. operating subsidiary of CGI Group Inc., (NYSE: GIB; TSX: GIB.A), was inducted last week as a Fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA) during the Academy's Fall Meeting in Washington, D.C. NAPA is an independent, nonprofit coalition of top public management and organizational leaders who tackle the nation's most critical and complex challenges.

O'Neill was formerly with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) where she served as the Assistant Administrator and Chief Information Officer. At CGI, O'Neill works with public sector clients to achieve their mission objectives by managing the balance between technology initiatives and the demands they face around transparency and accountability, budget constraints and the need for technology to play a more prominent role in increasing operational efficiency.

"Molly is a distinguished public service leader and we are proud that she has been recognized with this honor," said CGI Federal President George Schindler. "Like NAPA, we believe that government leaders need access to independent insight, advice and expertise to succeed in both the short- and long-term. Given Molly's experience in technology, energy and the environment, I can't imagine a better time for her to join this distinguished network."

In addition to O'Neill, CGI Federal members Patricia Healy and Anne Laurent are NAPA Fellows.
