CGI Group Inc. (TSX: GIB.A; NYSE: GIB), a leading provider of information technology and business process services, today announced a partnership with the State of Louisiana, Division of Administration, Office of Community Development/Disaster Recovery Unit (OCD/DRU) to deliver IT operations and service management to support Louisiana’s ongoing Road Home Program. The contract, valued at US$40 million, was signed during CGI's second quarter and will run for three years.

“CGI brings the solid IT management foundation, industry-standard practices, and policy domain knowledge required to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the IT services supporting the Road Home program,” said Paul Rainwater, Executive Director of the Louisiana Recovery Authority and the Office of Community Development. “Our commitment to homeowners has not waivered and CGI has the capacity and experience needed to help us meet our goals going forward.”
“CGI is committed to a true partnership with the State to help manage the complexities and competing demands inherent in managing IT services for the nation’s largest housing recovery program, " said Nazzic Turner, General Manager and Senior Vice-President, CGI.
