Vangie Rosel serves as a Director in the Army and Other Defense Agencies Sector at CGI Federal. In this capacity, she supports business development services, including identifying opportunities for short-term and strategic, long-term new and recompete business, as well as overseeing and expanding existing contracts.
Vangie served more than 27 years of experience in the Army, where she developed and managed effective teams, delivered critical services across installations and neighboring communities, developed and executed fiscal programs and budgets, handled complex administrative processes, and advised on Army-wide policy issues. Her knowledge spans both tactical and strategic levels, with assignments during her military career in Joint Organizations, Combatant Commands, Headquarters Department of the Army, Accessions, and Training Centers.
She graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering Psychology. Additionally, she earned an International Master of Business Administration (minor in Arabic) from the University of South Carolina, a Master of Arts in Human Resources Management from Webster University, and a Master of Science in National Resource Strategy (minor in Emerging Information Technology) from the National Defense University.
A career HR specialist, Vangie has consistently demonstrated a commitment to building and sustaining partnerships. As a Soldier For Life, she continues serving the military and the community while supporting the nation’s defense.
