Rashida Ricks serves as Vice President of Strategic Engagement and Inclusion, driving CGI Federal’s strategic vision, planning, implementation, and communication for member engagement and diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives. With a career that spans over 20 years, Rashida has successfully unlocked program gaps, identified operating efficiencies and implemented innovative solutions that incorporate people, processes, and technology. Rashida has consistently demonstrated outstanding business acumen throughout her career, intentionally approaching all aspects of the business with a DE&I lens.
A champion for DE&I, an advocate and mentor within local communities for underrepresented groups interested in STEM careers, Rashida also serves on the board of directors for Community Transformation Partners, a non-profit organization that implements initiatives in marginalized communities to promote public health, holistic wellness and economic mobility. Rashida is also one of the founding members of CGI's Black Member Alliance and Federal DE&I Council. In 2021, she partnered with Human Resources and DE&I teams across CGI United States to publish the first annual DE&I metrics report as a baseline to establish benchmarks around DE&I for CGI U.S.
Rashida is an experienced leader with the proven ability to assemble highly skilled cross-functional teams, mentoring and coaching teams through ongoing training, competency building, and succession planning. She has built a long track record of transforming program portfolios and building innovative solutions in collaboration with members, clients, and business partners.
