Mr. Berens has over 35 years of Department of War financial management experience and is a DOW Financial Management Certified Level 2.  He is a subject-matter expert in United States Marine Corps (USMC) financial management, business process reengineering, and military pay, having spent over 20 years on active duty. A consummate professional and strong leader with an acumen to find efficiencies while maintaining effectiveness in business processes. Mr. Berens holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a bachelor’s in business administration.
