Jessica Hersey leads the Defense, Intelligence and Space business unit within CGI Federal, a wholly-owned U.S. operating subsidiary of CGI Inc., which serves CGI’s clients across civilian, defense, and intelligence sectors of the U.S. federal government.
With more than 25 years of experience supporting Department of War (DoW) and Intelligence Community (IC) clients, Ms. Hersey is a results-driven leader known for guiding high-performing teams and delivering complex, technology-enabled solutions that advance client missions. Prior to joining CGI Federal, she served as Executive Vice President for the Government Technology Systems business unit at Red River and Invictus, a Red River company, where she led the growth and execution of a diverse portfolio of government contracts focused on designing, integrating, and delivering IT capabilities tailored to mission needs.
Before Red River, Ms. Hersey held senior leadership roles at Janes Group and Leidos, where she oversaw enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and IT modernization programs for a broad defense and intelligence customer base. She joined Leidos through the merger with Lockheed Martin’s Information Systems and Global Solutions business, where she spent over two decades supporting DoW and IC missions.
Ms. Hersey has also been an active leader in the federal technology community, serving as President of AFCEA DC and fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing across industry and government.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from The George Washington University. She is a graduate of the Lockheed Martin Leadership Executive and Development Program and the Program Management Development Program, and she holds a Program Management Certification from Villanova University.
