Ed Drolet is a senior technology and growth executive with over 40 years leading national security, defense, and intelligence initiatives across the DoD, Combatant Commands, federal agencies, and international partners. He specializes in enterprise modernization, advanced technology integration, and mission‑partner interoperability.

Ed is an expert in CJADC2, the Mission Partner Environment (MPE), and the DAF Battle Network. He is a proven business development and capture leader, Innovation Strategist, and technologist with deep experience in DoD acquisitions and Rapid Capabilities. As Executive Director of the CSAF Strategic Studies Group, Ed served as the CSAF’s chief strategist for innovation and digital modernization. He built and institutionalized the DAF innovation ecosystem, establishing AFWERX, and launched 19 DAF Software Factories.

Ed also served as CTO and Program Director for USAF, ODNI, and OUSD(I&S), leading major intelligence‑sharing and mission‑partner technology programs. He directed multibillion‑dollar portfolios, secured over $1 billion in funding, and built global coalition intelligence‑sharing capabilities for NATO and over 80 partner nations.

Ed holds advanced degrees from the Air War College, AFIT, CSU‑Dominguez Hills, and NDU, along with BS degrees in business and logistics management. He is certified as a PMP, Six Sigma Black Belt, ITIL, SAFe Agilist, and DAWIA Level III in Program Management and IT Acquisition.
