Danielle Applegate, Vice President, Veterans Affairs at CGI Federal is a seasoned technology leader known for her expertise in advancing large-scale government modernization programs. Before joining CGI, Danielle led the expansive Federal Health IT Portfolio at IT Concepts and electronic health record modernization at Cerner Government Services for the Departments of Defense and Veterans Affairs. At CGI, Danielle stewards critical enterprise-wide initiatives to increase interoperability and efficiency at the Department of Veterans Affairs.
An Army veteran and tireless advocate, Danielle has received numerous awards and recognition for her dedication to the military and veteran community. She is the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the nonprofit National Coalition for Homeless Veterans, and serves on the boards of PsychArmor Institute and the American Legion Auxiliary Foundation, and as a Carry the Load Ambassador.
