Brian Baney comes to CGI after nine years of supporting Defense Business Development and Program Delivery at Aeyon.  In his new role as Army | Other Defense Agencies Sector Lead, he is responsible for growing and maintaining client relationships and delivering mission, operations, and technical services to customers worldwide. 

Brian brings over 20 years of Federal experience to CGI, with expertise in leading customer engagements focused on Defense Acquisition and Procurement, Digital Transformation, and Analytics and Automation.  Prior to CGI, he led growth activities on Defense and Homeland Security industries were delivered and implemented initiatives around acquisition, mission services, analytics, and leading-edge technologies.  Prior to Aeyon, Brian advised clients and led consulting engagements within IBM Global Business Services’ U.S. Federal Division and responsible for business development and programs execution.  As a result of 9/11, and the increase in the U.S. Homeland Security, Brian served as Policy and Transportation Security Specialist in the Transportation Security Administration where he instituted commercial aviation security policies, helped implement national programs that streamlined crewmember screening processes and promoted the use of electronic boarding passes.

Brian is a graduate of George Mason University’s Schar School of Policy and Government receiving a M.A. in Transportation Policy, Operations, and Logistics.  Brian is an undergraduate from Wake Forest University with a B.A. in Psychology.
