Fairfax, Virginia, June 6, 2019 - CGI (NYSE: GIB) (TSX: GIB.A) congratulates CGI Federal Senior Vice President Stephanie Mango for her election as a Vice Chair At Large on the Industry Advisory Council Executive Committee.
The American Council for Technology and Industry Advisory Council (ACT-IAC), the premier public-private partnership dedicated to improving government through education and its collaborative programs and events, held the election over several days in late May and announced the results June 5.
Paul Strasser will ascend from Executive Vice Chair to Executive Chair, and former US Federal Chief Information Officer Tony Scott will become Executive Vice Chair.
“I’m honored to have been elected to serve with so many talented and dedicated professionals,” Mango said. “I believe in ACT-IAC because this organization, unlike many others, provides opportunities for people across public service, including federal employees and companies small and large, to conduct candid conversations about how technology can be applied to improve our government.”
The other new Vice Chairs At Large are: Allen Ashbey (Unisys Federal Systems); Ivette Granier-Smith (ASRC Federal); Kavita Kalatur (NetImpact Strategies); Darryl Peek II (Salesforce); and Cheryl Waldrup (General Dynamics Information Technology).
“This is a truly exceptional executive committee with a broad range of relevant expertise and experience,” said current Executive Chair Richard Spires. “I know that this committee, under the leadership of incoming Executive Chair Paul Strasser and Vice Chair Tony Scott, will continue to strengthen ACT-IAC in a way that benefits our entire community.”
