Interflora is a global organisation delivering flowers to over 140 countries worldwide. The UK team wanted to connect with the increasing numbers of consumers using mobile devices to access the web.

CGI has developed a mobile website at, and if you are an iPhone user, you can also download the native iPhone app from the App Store.

Consumers can view gift packages and order flowers directly from their mobiles – with the option of same day delivery. The site is designed to make it quick and easy for consumers to view and buy when they have minimal time to spare. The mobile web interface is designed to work with any handset, with advanced interaction for iPhone users.

The Interflora product management system is integrated with the site, so the display is always up to date. The existing Interflora order processing system is also integrated with the site, so sales administrators at Interflora do not need to alter their working methods. Mobile users of the main website are automatically forwarded to the mobile version.
