Steve Waller serves as Senior Vice-President, Consulting Services for CGI’s U.S. Chicago business unit. He is responsible for operations across the Chicago metro and clients throughout Illinois, Wisconsin, Kentucky, Michigan, Indiana and western Ohio, serving both commercial and public sector markets.

Steve is a transformational strategy, operations and technology executive with more than 25 years of experience partnering with boards and executive teams to deliver sustainable value. He has advised clients on enterprise growth strategies, operating model design, cost transformation and digital enablement. His work has included helping energy providers strengthen their operational resilience, guiding manufacturers through enterprise cost programs that delivered multi-million-dollar savings and supporting companies in modernizing finance, procurement and HR functions with AI and intelligent automation.

In addition to his client work, Steve has led teams of more than 200 professionals, developing robust talent strategies and fostering high-performing environments that deliver practical solutions and long-term results. Prior to joining CGI, he held senior leadership roles at Guidehouse, Accenture, Ernst & Young and Booz & Company.

Steve holds an MBA in Finance from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Notre Dame, and he completed the Executive Program in Corporate Strategy at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Based in Chicago, Steve is deeply engaged in the community. He serves as Board Chair and Trustee of The Frances Xavier Warde School and as a board member of Children at the Crossroads and Xchange Chicago. He is also a member of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs and has advised NeighborFood Meals.
